Basement Finishing Remodel in Bloomington, MN

Tauer, Inc. has worked on some great projects over the last few years. While each is special in its own right, there’s just something we love about a blank slate! So, when the owners of this Bloomington, Minnesota home reached out about a basement finish remodel, we were more than happy to help.

Originally built in the 1980s, this two-story home featured a partially finished, outdated basement. Working closely with our interior designer and architect, we transformed it into a beautiful and functional extension of the rest of the home.

In addition to opening up the stairway, our team refreshed the space with brand-new finishes and a revised layout. We updated the common areas, including the family room anchored by an eye-catching brick fireplace. We also relocated a bedroom to the basement, where we added a wall of custom cabinets and a built-in desk. The lower level also features an updated bathroom with a new vanity and a custom tile shower.
